The Parkinson's Connection is a 501(c)3 organization serving the Central
New Mexico counties of Bernalillo, Sandoval, Valencia, and Torrance.
Our mission is to build a community of wellness and hope by connecting people and resources.

LIST OF PARKINSON'S ORGANIZATIONs in our area

Over the last few years, several Parkinson's organizations have become active in Central New Mexico. We pulled this list together to help you understand who they are and what they do.

Future

We are ready to think outside the box, partner with others, learn from those we serve and work to meet their needs. One of our first projects is an early education kit that's shared at time of diagnosis. We're exploring a new approach to support and are already working to engage Hispanic and younger onset groups.

This is an exciting time for all of us. The development of the Movement Disorders Center at the University of New Mexico holds promise of more movement specialists and a comprehensive approach to treatment.
